Marinell Ash was born in 1941 in Ventura, California, where she lived and studied. She studied in Scotland on a year abroad program in college and continued her studies in Great Britain. She worked for the British Broadcasting Corporation for eleven years as a radio producer in the Education Department with a special responsibility for history programs. In 1983, she began a career as a freelance author, researcher, broadcaster, and lecturer. She died on December 20, 1988 of breast cancer. ...
